I am Anirudh Cheruvu. I am a Game Designer and this is my story. It began in 2009 when I entered Gaming industry as a Game Designer. I started with making web-based games, then transitioned into mobile games. My interest in gamification began in 2015 when I realized that games have a lot more deeper to offer to humanity than just entertainment.
The question that I pondered more upon is this: Why is fun at the end of the goal-seeking tunnel? The traditional methods of motivation and engagement were clearly falling short. People were disengaged, unproductive, and uninspired to seek their goals. I knew there had to be a better way, and that’s when I discovered the world of gamification. By applying game mechanics to real-world situations, we can tap into our intrinsic motivation and create experiences that are not only fun and engaging, but also meaningful and impactful.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working on some amazing gamification projects, from employee engagement programs to marketing campaigns to educational initiatives. What really drives me is the knowledge that I’m making a difference in people’s lives.
